Bizmoggi Ocotea Porosa, 2013

Originally forged in vinyl, Bizmoggi would later come to realize that his true power lay in the Ocotea porosa, a species of plant in the Lauraceae family, commonly known as Imbuia. Travelling to the mountainous Araucaria angustifolia rain forests of Southern Brazil he soon discovered that the IUCN had placed him on an endangered watch list. As a result he fled to Cape Town, where he currently awaits trial at Boaston Society. Medium: Imbuia, Iatandza Dimensions: 111mm x 163mm x 57mm

The following sculpture was made for a custom toy competition. The selected artist were each given a Bizmoggi toy and asked to create their own custom one to fit the theme, "Bizmoggie Goes Organic". I chose to recreate mine from wood.
